How did Diane and Jocelyn meet?
Diane engaged Jocelyn professionally when she was having some gut issues. While Diane was already eating a healthy plant-based diet, with Jocelyn’s expert guidance and a personalized plan, Diane learned to tweak her food choices and improve her gut. Diane and Jocelyn quickly realized they have complimentary skills to help you improve your health.
More about your instructors:
Diane Rose-Solomon, MA, has been vegan since 2019. She originally went vegan for the animals but other than breakfast, pasta and salads, didn’t know how to cook anything plant-based. That is, until she took a vegan cooking class which boosted her confidence in the kitchen.
She now loves teaching plant-based cooking and coaching people who want to learn how easy, healthy and delicious it is to eat more plant-based or go vegan. Her company is called What’s Plant-Based Cooking Good Looking?
Diane has written books about animal rescue and produced short films about the human-animal bond. She earned the Plant-Based Nutrition Certification at eCornell, is a Certified Humane Education Specialist, and a certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator.
Jocelyn Harrison, MPH, RDN is a registered dietitian with a focus on whole-food, plant-based nutrition to treat, manage and reverse chronic diseases. She specializes in gut health, autoimmune issues, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Jocelyn made the connection between food and health at an early age and considered nutrition her hobby until the chronic disease epidemic hit home. She lost a brother who had multiple sclerosis to a heart attack and another sibling received a diabetes diagnosis. This compelled her to leave an advertising and marketing career and return to school for six years to become credentialed as a registered dietitian nutritionist. She is also a Member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, trained in the Low FODMAP protocol by Monash University, and has earned the eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition certification.
